They advertise rarely. It's been around 50 years. The
successful people already have it.
Throughout history market day has been a time of great excitement or sincere dread. How much more so stock
market days which occurs nearly every business day.
Most everyone agrees that stock trading takes place in a huge room populated by crazed
people running around shouting "buy" and "sell." Great joy can turn to abject sadness at the tick of the
trading clock, and careers are made and lost in the same instant. When a trader begins his stock market
trading day, like the stock market gladiator of old, once the door is locked, neither man nor the gods may
tell which, when the door is thrown open at the close of the day, who will emerge victorious and whose head
will be rolling around the trading floor.
But, warrior of the stock trades ways, take heart. With each new battle new tricks and tips are
learned by the survivors of the gory stock market business. Simply coming out alive means you live to trade another
day, and perhaps win life's great stockmarket lottery.
The losers, were they still able to give advice would, as one, bespeak the greatest stock
words.... Go thou not into the trading environment unprepared lest ye part with thy very eyelashes! Working the
stockmarket without the proper training is very much like a gladiator going to battle without having learned the
old slash and twist. Unthinkable!
So, how does one gain their market creds? There is no stock market university, after all. The
quickest way to gain invaluable insight and tips in the real stock market trading world is to watch your stock
broker closely. His very existence is based on knowing when to hold them and when to fold them. (Stocks, that is.)
Mimicking or even aping your trusty (and hopefully successful) broker's approach to the market can pay great
dividends in the short term as well as the long. Apprenticing under your paid broker is a great way to get your
feet wet in the stock world.
Trading stocks is something that more and more people are doing. At one time only the folks
that worked on Wall Street and the very wealthy invested in stocks. Today though more and more pilgrims are making
trades. As a result the option of online share trading is a service that has a sustaining demand.
Fact is that among the peace loving peoples working the stock market, you'll find people
adjusting their retirement portfolios. They don't have much leeway. But then there are the professional stock
market traders, and nowadays most anyone with a few bucks to burn or earn can have a go at it. Online share trading
allows individuals to place the orders themselves. This means that in the comfort of their homes they have the
opportunity to do research and place orders. If you do it often enough, and forsake your day job, then you too can
be classed as a pro stock trader.
Professional online stock trading isn't for everyone. If you find that you are good at it, and
you like it, then there are plenty of avenues right on the internet to learn and grow. However, if you learn, much
to your chagrin, and lowered bank account that you aren't cut out to go for life's stock market lottery, then it's
best to keep your day job. With online trading comes the possibility to make great boodles of money, or to lose
great fortunes. But, in the middle, there is the opportunity to step up to the stock trading bar with only a modest
balance and see if you have what it takes to be a sure enough stock market maestro.
Of course, there are two ways you can do your part to do your utmost to insure stock happiness
and that is to invest in
The Prudent Speculator, a Forbes Publication, and the Forbes
